For viewing the order of shipping milestones and document events, TradeLens presents the information in an easy-to-read format
In this article:
In the Current View of your transport equipment events page, there are two columns of information. In both columns, the most recent information is shown at the top of the column.
Actual events
On the left, with a vertical line connecting downwards to earlier events is your view of actual event data. This is information that has been shared with the platform by the entity it is attributed to.
For each actual event, the event type is shown in bold at the top of the event card. Below is the date and time the events was recorded, followed by your entity type and the entity type that shared the data.
If you click on the event card, further detailed information about that event will be displayed in a slide-out window on the left side of the screen.
Planned and Estimated Events
In the right-hand column, beside each Actual Event is any previous Planned or Estimated events for that event type.
If you click on the event card, further detailed information about that event will be displayed in a slide-out window on the left side of the screen.
Additional sources
On some events, a + Additional Source link will be visible. To view the additional source of Actual Event information, click on the link. A new card will be displayed below the current Actual Event, showing the information for the additional source.
The + Additional Source link groups events of the same type that are happening at the same location. The Shipment Manager UI displays the highest priority event that is available at that time. This ensures that the most reliable data for milestone events is provided.
