Establishing a partnership in the Shipment Manager UI
From the home page of the TradeLens UI, click Account in the left-hand menu then Business Partners.
Find the company you want to use and click the Send Request button on the right-hand side. The carrier's business partnership card will slide out from the left of the screen showing the current partnership status, permissions, and party identifiers.
Party Identifiers can be added and used to refer to the company being added as the business partner.
Scroll down to Party Identifiers. Fill in a name and party identifier by clicking the Input Manually or Upload via CSV buttons.
Once you’ve finished editing, click Send to save the party identifier information and send the request to the company you want to add as a business partner.
How to delete a Business Partnership
When you delete a business partnership, it will no longer be active on the TradeLens platform, but can still be managed as a Business Partner.
From the home page of the TradeLens UI, click Account in the left-hand menu. Select Business Partners.
Scroll down to Active & Declined Business Partners. Check the box of the business partner you want to delete. Click Delete Selected. Confirm you’re happy to go ahead by clicking Delete.
